Original Landscape Paintings

Kate Highsmith creates original landscape oil paintings inspired by the places that capture her imagination, from the mountains and coast of North Carolina to colorful destinations around the world. Using expressive brushwork and vibrant color, she captures a place’s atmosphere, light, and feeling rather than simply documenting the landscape. Based in Asheville, North Carolina, Kate's landscape paintings reflect her love of travel, nature, and the unexpected beauty of everyday surroundings.
