Oil on canvas 24 x 30. Original work by Kate Highsmith
A beautiful blend of estate grandeur and rustic charm, this painting depicts a flock of chickens grazing peacefully across the green pastures of the historic Biltmore Estate. In the background, the iconic, hazy clouds of the Blue Ridge Mountains rise majestic against a soft sky. The artwork captures the vibrant, lively textures of the foraging birds in the foreground, contrasting their quiet daily rhythms with the vast, timeless scale of the Asheville landscape.
